Our Blue Chair cottage experience was amazing! The location was absolutely perfectly peaceful. Cedar Key is the sweetest little town with friendly & safe surroundings. Our hosts were thoughtful and were prompt to answer any questions we had before and during our stay. The cottage itself was immaculate and the decor was well thought out and inviting. We had a wonderful time staying here. I have been to Cedar Key 8 times in the last 10 years and this was by far my favorite place to stay. It’s perfect. Beautiful ocean front views from the balcony, you will see dolphins every day often times multiple dolphins at the same time. The place is located on what feels like a very secluded cul-de-sac while just literally a few minute walk to the downtown, restaurants, shops, or the beach area and the Lil Shark Park (2 to 3min walk). If you have young people with you, it’s perfect with the pool right outside the steps and the beach area with a little park right next to it just minutes away. The condo Is also set up very nice and very clean, but the balcony is the million dollar view. Can’t wait to come back to this condo and Beautiful island. No matter what your thing is: Kayaking, bird or dolphin watching, reading, family time, food, local art, local pubs and wine. This island has it and just a few steps away

We called last minute on Valentine's Day and Johnny answered the phone, who is the Owner. He was so very nice and was able to accommodate us last minute! We stayed in a condo which was new to their listings. We will definitely call Pelican Vacation Homes from now on as they have a lot of properties for all types of people. He met us on-site, walked us through the condo and we were thrilled. Condo was very clean, AMAZING view of the ocean and AWESOME owners!!! The condo is located on the top floor (3rd) with water views to the left (main channel) and gulf (off balcony). The condo provides amazing views - great at night and during the day. The space only has neighbors below and adjacent to one wall - great for having a quiet space. The space is well appointed with plenty of parking underneath the building. Downtown is an easy couple of blocks walk away. Cedar Key is extremely laid back, peaceful and safe. The town is slowly rebuilding from the recent hurricanes but there are adequate restaurants, shops, and most importantly a coffee spot to take care of anyone's needs... As for the fishing, our group of three caught and released over 100 redfish in a four-hour time slot. Hopefully with continued proper management of the resource, this area will continue to provide memories for generations to come. We will be back, hopefully in the not-too-distant future.

Extremely well pleased. I needed a quiet condo on the water for a retreat private with God. Unit 4B, Flip-flop Inn, was exactly what I had hoped for. Clean, comfortable, with all amenities working properly. Everything was as advertised. While walking around Cedar Key, I did not see any other accommodation that would have been better for me!

Our unit was immaculate and perfectly appointed with everything from books to wine opener to lots of hangers (good ones) to extra sheets, pillows, blankets and towels. It was spotless and of course the view is unsurpassed. Cedar Key is a hidden gem. We’ve been a part of the island(very part time) since 1990. We love Pelican Rentals. Very professional and friendly. We are guaranteed great accommodations. Highly recommend them. Would love to meet owners some day.
